Are you ready to make a difference in your community? The Vietnamese Women’s Association of Toronto (VWAT) is excited to present the 5th cohort for the Leader Maker Microgrant Program, a fantastic opportunity for newcomer and visible minority youth like you to take charge, create change, and inspire inclusivity and resilience within your community.

This program is all about giving YOU the power—with funding, mentorship, and training—to bring your ideas to life and create meaningful projects that benefit others.

What’s in it for you?

  • Funding for Your Ideas: This cohort, we’ll finance 2 youth-led projects that make a positive impact on the lives of newcomers and immigrant families.
  • Skills & Mentorship: We’ll provide you with the tools, training, and support you need to collaborate and succeed in your project.
  • Make a Difference: Your project could help serve 25 community members and be a force for change.

Who’s eligible to apply?

  • You must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or have refugee status in Canada.
  • You’re aged 15-30 (whether you’re already brimming with ideas or just getting started!).

Key Dates:

  • Applications are due by May 4, 2025, at midnight. Don’t miss out!

How to apply? It’s easy! Just answer a few questions:

  • What’s your project about?
  • What activities are you planning?
  • What’s the impact you’re aiming for?
  • How will you achieve your goals and track your success?
