On Saturday, December 14, 2024, VWAT Family Services hosted its annual Children’s Holiday Party, and it was a heartwarming celebration filled with laughter, creativity, and community spirit. The event brought together 30 children for an afternoon of fun activities, delicious food, and holiday magic at our office on St. Clair Avenue West.
A Festive Celebration for the Kids
The day began with eager faces as children arrived at noon, ready for an afternoon of excitement. Our amazing volunteers transformed the space into a winter wonderland, complete with craft stations, games, and holiday decorations. The highlight of the event was the gift-giving session from Santa Claus himself! Each child received a carefully prepared gift bag, and their smiles lit up the room as they opened their surprises. The party wrapped up with a cozy movie screening, where kids relaxed with popcorn in hand and enjoyed some downtime after the bustling activities.
