Thao Pham

Thao Pham began her first position as a Settlement Worker at VWAT Family Services in 2014. Thao currently holds a Canadian-approved TESOL certificate, a BA in Early Childhood Studies (Minor: Psychology), and an MA in English Language Education. She is fluent in both English and Vietnamese.

Thao’s educational background, professional experience, and life experience as an immigrant herself have allowed her to be a highly adaptable, reliable, dedicated, and devoted worker. She is keen on building connections and creating positive impacts on the individuals with whom she works. Since taking on the role of an Employment Counsellor at VWAT in 2020, Thao has provided job assistance for hundreds of newcomers. Her professional inspiration lies in working and building meaningful connections with people from all walks of life and various cultural backgrounds. She also believes in continuous professional and personal improvement, demonstrating an unquenchable desire for knowledge and a pursuit of excellence.
