Lan Nguyen was the former Deputy Chief Information Officer of the City of Toronto. Prior to this position, she was the Vice President of Innovations and Partnerships of Centennial College. She also held various IT executive leadership positions with the Ontario government and led many province-wide IT strategic consolidations and service renewal initiatives.
Lan kept active in various role as board director or advisor to industry organizations e.g CIO Association of Canada, TechConnex, GTANet and to non-profit organization in health and social services sector e.g. Yee Hong Long Term Care, CCAC, Family Services of Toronto, Operation Springboard, Golden Age Village for the Elderly, Vietnamese Association of Toronto. She sat on committees to help improve board governance, strategic planning, government relations, partnership development, DEI, social responsibility and foster next generation leader development program.
Lan holds a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University, an Executive Global MBA from Rotman School of Management, and an Executive Public Administration Diploma from Queen’s University. She currently is the lead instructor in the executive digital leadership development program at the School of Continuing Studies at the University of Toronto.
