Community Walking

In August 2023, the Vietnamese Women’s Association of Toronto (VWAT) organized 2 walking events to promote the health of the elderly in the community.

Tuesday, August 22, 2023:

Departure from the Vietnamese Women’s Association at 1756 St. Clair Ave W at 10 AM, walk through Osler St, to Davenport Rd, take a break at The Stop Community Food Center, then return to the Vietnamese Women’s Association. (Approximately 1100 meters one way, totaling about 2200 meters round trip).

Tuesday, August 29, 2023:

Departure from the Vietnamese Women’s Association at 1756 St. Clair Ave W at 10 AM, walk through Old Weston Rd, to Rogers Rd, pass through Keele St, to Eglinton Ave West, take a break at Coronation Park. (Approximately 2800 meters – You can choose to part ways here without returning to the Vietnamese Women’s Association).

Both walking sessions included light refreshments and TTC tickets.
