Newcomer Women Entrepreneur: How to Start a Business as an Immigrant

This FREE program will provide information and advice for newcomer women/families who want to start a business in Ontario.

The program includes group sessions and individual coaching. We will also provide referrals to Government of Canada resources, i.e. financing, mentoring, and support tools for newcomer entrepreneurs.

Target Audience:

• Women/families who landed within the past 5 years
• Female entrepreneurs with some clever business ideas and plans
• Entrepreneurs with little or no minimum English proficiency
• Those whose language proficiency levels are below CLB 4, and therefore unqualified to join other programs offered by other agencies

• Starting Dec 2022 – March 2022
• 10 group workshops + 1:1 coaching
