VWAT Family Services is excited to offer the Tech Explorer Academy, a free, hands-on program for newcomer and immigrant youth aged 8-15!
Organized by one of our Leader Maker Microgrant recipients, this program is funded by Canada Service Corps, a national movement empowering youth aged 15-30 to gain experience, build valuable skills, and give back to their communities. Learn more at Canada.ca/CanadaServiceCorps.
Program Details: 📅 Dates: Every Sunday, January 26 to March 9, 2025 (No session on February 16 due to Family Day weekend) ⏰ Time: 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM 📍 Location: VWAT Office, 1356 St. Clair Avenue West, Toronto, Ontario 💡 Cost: FREE!
What Youth Will Learn:
How to build a computer from scratch.
Troubleshooting basic hardware and software issues.
Developing confidence, technical skills, and problem-solving abilities in a supportive environment.
